Christofle designed this "Maïs" vase in 1921 for the Gallia collection in the Art Deco style. The vase's narrow, slender shape corresponds to its decoration's floral, country theme. This correspondence between form and decoration is a constant in Art Nouveau creations, drawing their inspiration from nature's richness and diversity. The vase has a height of 9 in.
