This Saulieu gravy boat, part of the Christofle contemporain collection, was designed by Lino Sabattini for Christofle in 1964. Lino Sabattini was a self-taught goldsmith and designer from Correggio. In 1956, his creations were exhibited in Paris by Gio Ponti and attracted international attention. He went on to become Christofle's design director for seven years.
